Dave Jardine, CCSR
Dave’s kind demeanour, attention to detail, commitment to honesty, and client-centred approach are the backbone of how he does business.
Before becoming a REALTOR®, Dave worked in a wide variety of industries, including farming, fishing, forestry, tourism, retail, and call centres. Those diverse experiences helped shape his practical, down-to-earth approach to working with people from all walks of life. Outside of real estate, however, the roles he values most are being a husband and a dad to four children.
Dave also previously worked as a Certified Energy Advisor for Natural Resources Canada with Trinity Inspection Services. In that role, he visited thousands of homes throughout northern Nova Scotia, helping homeowners better understand their properties and identify ways to improve energy efficiency. That experience continues to benefit his real estate clients today and complements his Canadian Certified Green Representative (CCGR) designation.
Dave is also a Canadian Certified Seniors Representative (CCSR) and was among the first 200 REALTORS® in Canada to earn the designation. This specialized training helps him better understand the unique considerations that can come with later-in-life real estate decisions, including downsizing or “right-sizing,” transitioning to a different style of home, and helping families navigate those conversations with care and respect.
An award-winning, full-time REALTOR®, Dave has also been actively involved with the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS®. He served for four years as Northern Regional Director and currently serves as Alternate Northern Regional Director. His combination of industry involvement, community experience, specialized training, and years spent working inside homes throughout the region allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective to every transaction.

Laurel's unique sense of humour, attention to detail, organizational talent and desire to help is at the very center of her work process. She has worked in a widely diverse number of occupations before coming to Blinkhorn Real Estate. Those areas range from administration, photography, construction, IT, print marketing, retail, call centres and workflow control. However, her favourite roles outside of work are being a wife and a Mom of various and sundry rescued cats, both with and without special needs. Her hobbies include gardening, crocheting, reading, exercise and crafting unique items to adorn her yard.
