My journey in real estate began over 17 years ago, and I quickly learned that the culture of a brokerage directly impacts the client. I saw how a culture focused on closing deals often prioritized the commission over the client's best interests. I knew there had to be a better way—a model where advice was patient, guidance was genuine, and the relationship with the client was the most important asset.

In 2014, I found that home at Blinkhorn Real Estate, a brokerage that was already deeply involved in its community. When the opportunity arose to take ownership in 2022, my mission was clear: to protect and deepen that family-first culture.

Today, that mission is our promise. We've become the #1 team in the region* not by chasing transactions, but by creating a supportive environment where great agents are empowered to do their best work for the neighbours we're proud to serve.

We've always believed that a successful local business has a responsibility to reinvest in the community it serves. For us, that means seldom saying no to a local school fundraiser, a youth sports team needing a sponsor, or a neighbour in need. Our roots in Northern Nova Scotia are deep, and our commitment to its people is unwavering. We don't just work here; we live here, we raise our families here, and we are proud to be a part of its fabric.
